Vrindavan's own brand of standardised, specially prepared 'khad' provides a reservoir of air, moisture and important nutrients for outdoor / indoor plants, as well as for vegetable, flower and fruit production. The regular use of this excellent brand increases the fertility of the soil, minimizes the pH value in it, and helps plant-growth to adjust well. It is ideal for gardens and maintenance of fine lawns.
It increases the water retaining capacity in the ground — thus providing relief and nourishment to water stressed plant-life. It is a complete meal-plan for all types of plants, and has no disadvantageous side effects at all — so commonly related with chemical fertilizers. In fact, to some extent, chemical fertilizers decrease the fertility in the soil. Vrindavan's organic manure has all the 16 elements of nourishment essential for plant growth. The Extended Plant-Nurseries
Besides the main Green House, several highly as well as lightly shaded areas have been utilized as sections of our ever-growing Plant-Nursery division. These also include beds for raising and transplanting seedlings, which later are transferred to other permanent beds, pots, or bags.
The Extended Products
Vrindavan Farm has gradually introduced new products for the Garden-Section. Hanging baskets, moss, clay pots, fibre-plast pots with underneath trays, garden aprons, garden-waste bags, grafting knives, budding knives, secateurs, plant-tonics are made available for garden-lovers. The Farm makes colourful offerings of seasonal flowers — marigolds, salvias, celosias, clendulas, petunias, asters, gerberas, gazanias and so many others; as well as poinsettias in varieties of red foliage, fireball and navin add to make a splendid scene in the months of November, December and January. Depending upon the weather, between December and February, dahlias begin to bloom in full dazzle. The flowers are an ongoing affair with the ongoing seasons and to mention all the varieties would perhaps not be possible!
The Coco Peat Centre
The Coco Peat is prepared from coconut husk, which acts as a nutrient supplier for the soil. It is such a soil media, which is having good water holding capacity, but at the same time good drainage quality, too.
